Ein Karem, Jerusalem
With it’s biblical landscape and a history that dates back 3000 years, Ein Karem is where my family and I have called ‘home’ for the last 30 years. Our neighbourhood has beautiful stone houses decorated with graceful arches, stone paved paths and church towers. This small village has great importance in Christian tradition, according to which it was the birthplace of John the Baptist. But Ein Karem is not just Christianity and churches. It is also a venue for classical music concerts, full of artists, colourful residents and restaurants known for al fresco dining.
